Lavender and Honey Lemonade
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup honey
- Ice cubes
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 5 cups cold water
- In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water, lavender and sugar to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Add in the honey and stir to dissolve. Cover and let steep for 20 minutes.
- Fill a 2 quart pitcher ¼ of the way with ice. Add in lemon juice and 5 cups of cold water.
- Strain the lavender simple syrup into the pitcher. Discard the lavender buds. Adjust the flavors to your liking.
