Lavender and Honey Lemonade

Makes a 2 quart Pitcher
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 5 cups cold water
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water, lavender and sugar to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  2. Add in the honey and stir to dissolve. Cover and let steep for 20 minutes.
  3. Fill a 2 quart pitcher ¼ of the way with ice. Add in lemon juice and 5 cups of cold water.
  4. Strain the lavender simple syrup into the pitcher. Discard the lavender buds. Adjust the flavors to your liking.
